Dr. Marlene Feisthamel

D.D.S., M.S. in Applied Anthropology

Dr. Marlene Feisthamel is a native of Brookfield, Missouri.

She graduated from Nebraska's College of Dentistry and began her dental career as a Certified Dental Assistant in Glendive, Montana. After completing her pre-dental studies in Billings, Montana, she went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.  After receiving her degree in 1994 she began her own practice in Aurora, Missouri.

Dr. Feisthamel practiced in Aurora, Missouri for ten years prior to moving her practice to Battlefield, Missouri in 2004.

Dr. Feisthamel completed a Master of Science Degree in Applied Anthropology at Missouri State University in 2012 and currently assists local authorities with forensic dental and anthropological identifications.


Doctor of Dental Surgery

Dr. Feisthamel received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1994.

Bright New Beginnings

Dr. Feisthamel opened her first dental practice in Aurora, Missouri. Her office operated for 10 years before moving to Battlefield, Missouri.

New Office Location

In 2004, Dr. Feisthamel built a new state-of-the-art facility in Battlefield, Missouri and moved her practice to this location.

Dr. Feisthamel was first chosen to 417 Magazines, Top Dentists honors. She has appeared as one of the Top Dentists since this appearance, including the latest in 2017.

Master of Science Degree

Dr. Feisthamel completed a Master of Science Degree in Applied Anthropology at Missouri State University.

Dentist of the Year

In November of 2017, Dr. Feisthamel was awarded the Missouri Dental Association Dentist of the Year. The Dentist of the Year Award recognizes a member dentist who has demonstrated outstanding service to the association, to the profession of dentistry and/or to the community in the past year.

2018 Oral Health Champion

The Missouri Coalition for Oral Health will honor Dr. Feisthamel as the 2018 Oral Health Champion.

Feisthamel Family Dentistry will resume our regular patient hours on May 4, 2020.

To ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff, we have instituted additional protocols for our office.

In compliance with the CDC and ADA guidelines:

  1. Anyone with symptoms of illness (cough, fever, flu-like symptoms, etc), will be rescheduled.
  2. You will be asked to wait in your car. Call us when you arrive and we will let you know when we are ready for you.
  3. You will have your temperature taken, be asked to sanitize your hands, and rinse with an anti-microbial mouth rinse.
  4. We will be scheduling to allow as much social distancing as possible within our office.

If you had an appointment rescheduled or canceled we will be contacting you to reschedule.
